The word of the day is hot, あつい.

熱い – あつい – atsui

熱い has a few different meanings, but they all pertain to intensity, when it be heat or of an object, or temperature, or someones temperament.

Practice sentence:

atsui kara aisu wo tabetai

熱いからアイスをたべたい。

It’s hot so I want to eat ice cream.
