We’ve seen today’s word in the first post, あたらしい.

Today’s word, あたらしい(atarashii) means new.

Practice sentence:

じゃ~ん、あたらしいユニットをてにいれた!

jyan~, atarashii yunitto wo teniireta!

Tadaa, I got a new unit!

For context the image above is from a Japanese mobile game called Phantom of the Kill. Its from the company that made Brave Frontier, and the company that works on the Fire Emblem games and it play like Fire Emblem. Units are based of weapons like Longinus or Masamune, etc. Its pretty fun and simple to understand if you’ve played Fire Emblem, so mastery of Japanese is not necessary to play, but it helps to know a little bit.
